Brushed Brass Flower Pots
A modern interpretation of the traditional terracotta pot, in gleaming brushed brass. Available in three sizes, from a good size planter to a charming little herb pot to perch on your windowsill. Plants may be potted directly in the planter, or simply insert a potted plant inside.
Staying true to the historic production methods of Skultuna, Monica Förster and her design studio came up with a series of flower pots made through metal spinning, a production method that makes it possible to make large round three dimensional objects out of sheets of metal with no seams or welds.
Skultuna was founded in 1607 by King Karl IX of Sweden as a brass foundry for the Royal Court of Sweden, with large brass chandeliers as one of its first products. In operation for over 400 years, Skultuna is one of the oldest companies in the world and has produced objects of the highest quality for both everyday use and for special occasions. Today, it works with renowned international designers to create modern objects for the home.
