From ingredients to vessels, Slow North candles are designed with sustainability in mind. They only use soy wax, a long-burning, biodegradable and renewable resource and their candles are poured into reusable, brushed gold travel tins and glass tumblers. 

Recommended Use: Allow the wax to form a even melted pool across the entire candle surface before extinguishing. These are self-trimming wicks, so you'll notice they naturally curl and trim themselves to about 1/8-1/4" tall. If you notice the wick is longer than that, please trim down before lighting. This prevents your candle from tunneling, since all soy wax candles have a "memory" and the next time you light the candle, it will only burn as wide as the time before.

CAUTION: Failure to follow instructions could result in fire hazard or injury. Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings or other flammable materials. Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/8" to ensure even burning & prevent the flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than 4 hours at a time. Keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only 1/4" of wax remains on the bottom. Do not move candle while burning or if the wax is hot. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
