These beautiful note cards and box is an ode to the forgotten art of letter writing on stationery.

The paper is handmade using traditional methods passed down through generations of Indian artisans and printmakers. Cotton scraps from garment manufacturers are upcycled and used to make cotton pulp paper, and then the designs are screen-printed by hand, turning scraps into fine paper. These beautiful note cards and box is an ode to the forgotten art of letter writing on stationery.

Any imperfections in the paper are inherent to the paper.

Hataguchi Collective is a proprietor of traditional paper products with a modern aesthetic. Working with paper artisans and printmakers she met in India, she was inspired by how they gave old cotton garments a second and precious life as handmade paper. She hopes her handmade paper products inspire people to share their thoughts in a handwritten letter and rediscover the joy of receiving a handwritten letter in the mailbox.
