Gingko Wood Cutting Board, Large with Handle
Carved from a single piece of gingko wood, this traditional Japanese cutting board (manaita) has a handle and is lightweight and buttery smooth to the touch. Its soft sculptural shape also invites display in your kitchen.
Long used by professional chefs in Japan, gingko wood cutting boards provide a firm cutting surface that is also gentle on your knife and resistant to dents due to the self-recovering nature of the wood.
Fine grained, smooth to the touch, and relatively lightweight, craftsmen at Woodpecker carefully select the piece of wood and only the part suitable for manaita is carved out and finished by hand, resulting in a solid board with a beautiful grain.

Care: Clean promptly after use. Scrub thoroughly with a scrub brush and rinse with running water, wipe dry. To ensure proper drying, stand the board upright away and away from direct sunlight, which may cause warping and cracking. Do not wash in dishwasher.

Returns and Exchanges
Refunds are issued in store credit only.
Full-price items purchased in-store may be returned within two weeks.
For online orders, please email us within 5 days of receipt for return authorization. The item(s) must be shipped back to us within 14 days of receiving return authorization.
